Betingelser for brug

These are the Terms and Conditions for Crowman’s Online Courses

(Applicable to kragemanden.dk and crows.dk)

Last updated: October 2025

1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all access to and use of the online courses and community platforms provided by Kragemanden.dk (hereafter referred to as “the Provider”“we”, or “us”).

By purchasing or accessing any course, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms, as well as all applicable Danish and European Union laws, including consumer protection and data privacy regulations (GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

The services are operated from Denmark by:
Kragemanden.dk / Crows.dk
Aarhus, Denmark
Email: cabadk (at) gmail.com

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to register and participate in our online courses or community.
If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must:

  • Create the account on your behalf,
  • Clearly state in the account description that they are the guardian, and
  • Supervise the child during all activities on the site.

Children may not use the site unsupervised.

3. Payment and Access

  • All course fees must be paid in full before access is granted.
  • Payment can be made through Stripe, PayPal, MobilePay, or bank transfer by prior agreement.
  • Prices are per participant. Each course enrollment is personal and non-transferable.
  • Once payment is confirmed, you receive immediate access to the course materials and the online community (crows.dk).

Because access is granted instantly, no refunds are available after purchase, in accordance with Danish consumer law §18 (14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content delivered immediately).

4. Account Use and Conduct

By joining Kragemanden.dk or Crows.dk, you agree to behave respectfully and follow our Community Guidelines:

  • Treat others with kindness and respect in all interactions — including forums, chat feeds, comments, and email communication.
  • It is strictly prohibited to post, share, or distribute:
    • Illegal content,
    • Harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks,
    • Spam, advertisements, or unrelated promotions.
  • Only crow-related content is allowed unless clearly marked as OT: (Off Topic) at the beginning of your post.
  • Admins reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or permanently delete accounts that violate these rules or general internet etiquette.
  • Serious or repeated violations may result in a ban without refund.

5. Course and Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, guides, illustrations, and other digital content are protected under Danish and EU copyright law.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute course content.
  • Share your login credentials with others.
  • Use course material for commercial or educational purposes outside personal study without written permission from the Provider.

Any misuse or unauthorized distribution will be treated as a violation of copyright (Ophavsretsloven, Consolidation Act No. 202 of 27/02/2019) and may result in legal action.

6. Community Access (Crows.dk)

Access to Crows.dk is included with your course enrollment. The platform is intended as a safe and educational community for people interested in befriending crows and other corvids.

The Provider reserves the right to moderate discussions and remove any members who fail to comply with community standards or Danish law.

All participants must understand that information shared within the community is for educational and entertainment purposes and should not be interpreted as professional or legal advice regarding wildlife or animal handling.

7. Technical Requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary internet connection, device, and software to access the online materials.
We are not liable for issues caused by third-party service providers, internet outages, or local device settings.

8. Privacy and Data Protection (GDPR)

We collect and process personal data only as necessary to operate our courses and community in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.

  • Personal data (such as name, email, and payment details) is stored securely and never sold or shared with third parties except where required by law.
  • Payment details are processed securely through Stripe, PayPal, or MobilePay, in compliance with EU data security standards (PCI DSS).
  • You have the right to request data access, correction, or deletion at any time by contacting cabadk (at) gmail.com
  • For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Our content is created with the utmost care, based on research and real experience. However:

  • We cannot guarantee specific results from course participation.
  • All interaction with wild birds must follow local laws and ethical standards.
  • The Provider is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses arising from the misuse of the content, including attempts to handle wildlife illegally or unsafely.

10. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Danish law and, where applicable, European Union law.
Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Aarhus, Denmark, unless mandatory legal provisions require otherwise.

11. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect once published on the website. Continued use of the site or courses after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
