Nova, flight training with my jackdaw friend
Nova is a little jackdaw I’m caring for in my rehab. Here she’s practicing how to fly.
This video is from just a few days before she was able to fly for the very first time.
And even then, she spent hours every day flapping her wings and doing stretching exercises. <3
P.S. It’s important to emphasize that caring for wild animals without permission and cooperation with the proper authorities is illegal.
In some cases, you can apply for a dispensation, and together with a certified wildlife rescue center or the Animal Protection services, you may be allowed to help if no other options exist.
Keeping a crow or any corvid in captivity is also prohibited in Denmark.
